Description
Oscar-winning Oliver Stone's "Snowden" is the film adaptation of the events that led to CIA employee whistleblower Edward Snowden (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) becoming one of the world's most wanted men.
In 2013, he leaked thousands of classified CIA documents to The Guardian and The Washington Post, and was then able to reveal that the US and the UK were conducting top-secret surveillance of individuals, politicians and companies worldwide.
